They've developed indigenous methods for producing 4-inch Silicon Carbide wafers and Gallium Nitride High Electron Mobility Transistors, which are super important for defence and aerospace tech. Speaking of 'Make in India', Korean giant LG Electronics is seriously considering shifting some of its production for high-tech factory machinery to India from its current bases in Korea, China, and Vietnam. Confirmed for a November 13th launch is the much-awaited OnePlus 15, which will be one of the first phones in India to be powered by the beastly Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The company is also teasing some advanced new gaming technology for a smoother experience.

But wait, there's more! The competition is fierce, with several other brands lining up their flagship killers:

  • iQOO 15: Also running on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, this phone is launching on November 26 and promises a dedicated gaming chip and an advanced cooling system.
  • Realme GT 8 Pro: Rumoured to launch around November 20, this one is creating a buzz with its camera system co-developed with Ricoh GR Optics and a massive 7,000mAh battery in its Chinese variant.
  • OPPO Find X9 Series: Expected early in the month, this series will feature MediaTek's powerful Dimensity 9500 chipset and Hasselblad-tuned cameras. The Pro model is even tipped to have a 200MP telephoto lens!

On the startup front, the funding news just keeps getting better. Hyderabad-based fintech infrastructure startup Zynk has raised a cool $5 million in a seed funding round. Founded just this year in April 2025, Zynk is building a blockchain-based payment system to make cross-border settlements instantaneous. Another interesting bit of news comes from Blyp, a parking solutions startup, which has secured ₹50 lakh in a bridge funding round to fuel its tech and expansion plans. In government initiatives, the Nationwide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 4.0 is in full swing this month, aiming to empower pensioners across the country by allowing them to submit life certificates using Aadhaar-based Face Authentication technology.
